Valentines Theme Thank You Cake

I had a cake order, but I felt more like making cookies that day, so I just used cookies to decorate my cake.

First make the cookies.

These swirled hearts were fun to make and pretty simple

Then onto the cakes they go!  Two sour cream almond cakes frosted with vanilla buttercream.
